Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Amrit Vela with Sunanda ("Amrit Vela", "we", "us", or "our"), an independent practice based in Bengaluru, India, operating the website amritvelawithsunanda.com and the programs offered through it (together, the "Service").

By visiting the site, creating an account, or registering for a program, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Amrit Vela offers guided meditation, breathwork, and wellbeing programs led by Sunanda Kiran. The Service includes:

• A website with information about the practice and the programs.
• An account system that lets you reserve a seat in a batch.
• Cohort programs delivered over a fixed duration (commonly 21 or 11 days), conducted online, with session details communicated separately after enrolment.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or register for a program. If you are between 16 and 18, you must have your parent or guardian's permission. By using the Service you confirm that the information you provide about yourself is true and accurate.

You can create an account using either an email address and password or by signing in with Google. If you sign in with Google, your sign-in is governed by Google's terms in addition to ours; we receive only the basic profile data described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for any activity that happens on your account. Tell us straight away at sunandakiran06@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Registering for a program is a four-step process: (1) choose a batch and variant, (2) fill in your basic details, (3) complete the consent form, and (4) submit a payment reference. Your seat is provisional until Sunanda reviews and approves your payment. Approval can be withheld if a payment cannot be verified, if a batch is full, or if the information you provided appears inaccurate.

Email address, phone number, and the answers you give on the consent form are recorded at the time of registration and cannot be self-edited afterwards. If something needs to be corrected, contact us by email.

Program fees are stated in Indian Rupees on the registration page. Payments are made via UPI to the account shown on the payment step, inside your own UPI banking app — Amrit Vela never sees your card, UPI PIN, or bank credentials. After paying, you submit the transaction reference on the site for Sunanda to verify.

If you choose to upgrade to a longer variant of the same batch, you pay only the difference between the two prices, subject to the same approval flow.

When you use the Service, you agree not to:

• Impersonate someone else or sign up with false details.
• Share your account or program access with another person.
• Record, redistribute, or republish session content (audio, video, slides, written material) without Sunanda's written permission.
• Scrape the site, abuse the API, attempt to bypass authentication, or interfere with how the Service works for other users.
• Use the Service for anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or commercially competitive with Amrit Vela.

If you have a medical or mental-health condition, please consult a qualified clinician before joining a program, and let us know about anything we should be aware of on the consent form. By registering, you confirm that you participate voluntarily and at your own risk.

All content on the site and in the programs — text, photographs, audio recordings, video, illustrations, branding, and code — belongs to Amrit Vela or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to view the site and to access the program content you have paid for, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.

The Service relies on third parties to run — including Amazon Web Services for hosting and Google for identity sign-in. We are not responsible for outages, security failures, or terms-of-use changes from those providers, although we do our best to choose reliable partners and to keep your data safe with them.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if leaving the account open would create a clear risk to other participants or to the integrity of the Service.

You can close your account at any time by emailing us.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose, and we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Outcomes from meditation and wellbeing practices vary from person to person; nothing in the Service should be read as a promise of any specific result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amrit Vela, Sunanda Kiran, and anyone working with us will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or distress — arising out of your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is capped at the amount you actually paid Amrit Vela in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is higher.

You agree to indemnify and hold Amrit Vela and Sunanda Kiran harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

Before filing a formal complaint, please write to us at sunandakiran06@gmail.com so we have a chance to resolve the issue directly.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. If a change materially affects your rights, we will let registered users know by email before the new version takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
